DESIGN AND MATERIALS

 DESIGN:

The VILLOAR 2 BANCO and PORTIFORT structures are designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the current Standards, NBE EA-95 "Estructuras de Acero en Edificación" y NBE AE-88 "Acciones en la Edificación". These standards are complemented when necessary with the recognised specific application standards NTE, UNE, EN, ISO, DIN, ASME and AWS. Aņuri’s Technical Office uses advanced software tools in order to optimise the dimensions of each component which goes to make up the structure. Many of these computer programmes were specially developed for Aņuri’s structural systems and allow it to respond efficiently to the requirements of each project.

The Technical Office also uses the ANSYS programme for Finite element analysis. The features and reliability of this programme, made by the North American firm ANSYS Inc., is internationally recognised

Among other things, ANSYS means that Aņuri can make precise analysis of web and flange local buckling and lateral torsional buckling of built up plate members of the frames. Depending on the project at hand, detailed analyses of other structural elements, tension concentration studies, assembly process simulation, etc.

 The design programmes normally used for structures do not cater for all of these factors, making AŅURI, S.A. a pioneer in the field.

 MATERIALS:

With the exception of purling, auxiliary profiling and components of little structural relevance, which supplied at normal market quality, Aņuri’s structures use nothing but S235 and 275 EN 10025:94 quality, hot-rolled structural steel profiling.
