MANUFACTURE AND PREMISES

AŅURI, S.A.'s 15,000 mē premises are equipped with the most advanced technology in the sector:

Automatic Fitting and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) Centre:
This is where Aņuri’s b
uilt up plate profiles are formed. The main feature of the Centre is that the welding processes are performed at the same time, thereby avoiding the welding tensions inherent in more conventional systems.
Aņuri’s joints are welded on all 4 angles, as opposed to the 2 normally welded on its competitor’s products. Although this technique involves higher manufacturing costs, Aņuri believes that it is more in line with good building practices and also helps avoid the retention of humidity and prevents corrosion in such a highly delicate area as the
root of a welded join.

Centro CNC de Corte por Plasma:

Pre-Assembly Templating. Where the different components which go to make up a structure are assembled in order to guarantee they fit perfectly come the assembly phase.

 CNC Drilling.

Blasting. With capacity to blast parts of up to 15 m., Aņuri is able to achieve a level of surface preparation equivalent to Sa 2―, in accordance with the ISO 8051-1:88 standard (old SIS 055900). This process involves subjecting parts to the effect of 1.2-mm steel pellets projected at speeds of 75 m/s. In addition to cleaning the material, this process enhances the strength of the structure and its welds by eliminating residual tensions.

 Pressurised Painting Tunnel.

In addition to its own Quality System, Aņuri also has a contract with a recognised laboratory for technical assistance, welding inspection, and procedure and welding operator training in accordance with ASME-IX.

BLASTING AND PAINTING

Nearly all of Aņuri’s structures are given a coat of highly adherent, quick-drying, anti-rust, zinc phosphate-based primer. The only exception to this rule is on roof purling, which uses galvanised steel profiles. Aņuri is, however, prepared to apply other types of paint on customer request and can even blast the structure in order to duly prepare its surface for these alternative products.
