False
ceiling:
The false ceiling consists of 0.3-mm thick, corrugated aluminium plates
and other translucent plates which coincide with the
skylights on the roof. The ceiling is fixed in place
with galvanised steel staples nailed to a framework of
wooden strips, fixed in turn to the roof purlings. This
assembly system means that the usual framing squares
used for false ceilings are not necessary. The wooden strips also
prevent the Fe-Al (Iron-Aluminium)
dipole which causes corrosion
in the presence of humidity.
