FALSE CEILINGS

The type of false ceiling used depends on the structural option chosen:

Concealing the entire roof structure (typical of the Villoar 2 Banco system).

Concealing all of the roof purling (typical of the Portifort and other gable roofing systems).

The first of these two systems requires a special structure to be hung from the roofing structure, while in the latter case, the false ceiling is fixed directly beneath the roof purling. Unless otherwise indicated, the false ceiling typical to the structural system chosen shall be supplied.

Of the different false ceiling materials available, we would like to highlight the following:

 Corrugated aluminium.
 Pre-painted plating.

CORRUGATED ALUMINIUM

This is the material most commonly used on Añuri’s buildings thanks to its outstanding price/quality ratio. The system consists of 0.3-mm thick, aluminium plates formed with mini-corrugation profiling. The plates are fixed to the wooden strip framework with galvanised steel staples shot from compressed-air stapling guns. This fixture system means that the false ceiling is continuous, watertight and free of join tracking. The wooden strips also prevent the Fe-Al dipole which causes corrosion. The corrugated profile acts as a reflector screen for the light from the skylights, distributing it throughout the building evenly, optimising illumination and helping avoid bothersome “light-shade” contrasts.

The following options are available when working in adverse environments:

Special treatment for the wooden strips to protect them from alteration and help maintain their properties.
 Stainless steel staples.
Perforation of the plates to enhance sound conditions in the building.

PRE-PAINTED PLATING

This system consists of pre-painted, 0.4- or 0.5-mm thick, profiled steel plates. By comparison, this system is more rigid (sports centres) and more aesthetically pleasing (exhibition sites, sales areas) than the false ceiling in aluminium.

The plating is fixed to the purling framework with self-threading and/or self-tapping screws with nylon heads in the same colour as the plating.

Normal Finishes:

Pre-painted. An epoxy resin-based coating is applied to the two faces of a reel of galvanised steel. The outer face is then coated with a silicon polyester resin-based lacquer in accordance with the specifications set out in UNE 36150 - EN 10169.
Suitable for low corrosion atmospheres and aesthetically demanding projects.
