The components which make up this structural system are:
Purlings.
Frames.
Front
ends or lintels.
Bracing.
Anchorage.
Roof.
Skylights:
Skylighting is distributed on
the roof planes in lengthways strips (parallel to the
ridge) or crosswise strips (perpendicular to the ridge).
The first system is recommended for fibre cement roofs and
the latter for roofs made of other materials. Unless
otherwise indicated, the surface percentage taken up by
skylighting ranges from 10% to 15%.
The great majority of the materials currently
available on the market can be coupled to the roof: glass
fibre-reinforced polyester, compact or cellular
polycarbonate, PVC, etc.
Gutters.
Heat
insulation.
False
ceiling.
