These plates are a mixture of
natural chrysolite fibres, synthetic fibres and high quality cement.
These plates are wavy in cross section, which makes them stronger and
helps drain rainwater away. Standard plates are 6 mm thick. As roofing material,
their life is practically endless as they are not affected by
temperature changes, electrical phenomena, rodents or ice; they
neither rot nor rust and are equally suitable for industrial, sea and
rural conditions.
The
roofing is fixed to the purling framework with threaded galvanised
hooks with metal washers and rubber adapted to the profiling of the
panels.
Finishes:
Natural. This is the
concrete-like colour given when the different components used to make
this material are mixed. Natural is the most common and best known
finish.
Terra. These are the colours
obtained by adding pigment to the mix. The process creates
long-lasting “pastel” shades.
Colour. These are colours in the
mass which are then painted and kilned in the same shade to give an
even, long-lasting surface.
