PORTIFORT is a structural system designed by AÑURI, S.A. to satisfy present-day market demand for “simple” low-cost structures.

AÑURI, S.A. undertook complex research work, focused on its design and manufacturing processes, in order to come up with the PORTIFORT design. The simplicity of the design is, therefore, the fruit of both the optimised design of each component of the structure and the use of advanced technology in their manufacture.

The advantages of the PORTIFORT structural system:

1. Its optimised design means that Añuri is able to offer competitive systems capable of meeting building requirements, whilst lending an air of “lightness” to the entire structure.
   
2. The use of “made-to-measure” profiles readily respond to the need for large spans (up to 80 m. without interior columns) and/or great heights (up to 30 m. without intermediate columns) normally required for sports centres or warehouses.
   
3. The 4 welded angles on built-up members avoid the accumulation of humidity and consequent corrosion at the root of welds which is produced when only 2 angles are welded (normal practice for the competition).
   
4. The articulated supports used on the frames reduce foundation costs by avoiding the transmission of bending moments to the structural footing.
   
5. The versatility of its structural design offers a wide range of solutions to satisfy nearly all requirements: complex distribution, projections, etc.
   
6. The corrugated profile on the false ceiling helps distribute the natural light from the skylights uniformly, thereby creating pleasant interior lighting conditions.
   
7. The insulation capacity of the roof is enhanced by the heat regulating effect of the air pocket between the roof and the false ceiling.
   
8. Assembly efficiency and speed is guaranteed thanks to the use of calibrated, high-resistance bolts on 98% of the joins.
   
9. The degree of cleanliness and hygiene achieved by concealing the roof structure with the false ceiling goes a long way towards cutting the cost of upkeep.
