This system consists of two 0.6-m thick, grooved, steel plates with galvanised or pre-painted finishes one on top of the other. A galvanised separation profile (omega) and a sheet of 80-mm thick, glass fibre insulation are placed in between.
The entire assembly process is performed “on site”.
The pleasant interior finish achieved with this system means that false ceilings are not necessary.

The plating is fixed to the purling framework and the separation profiles with self-threading and/or self-tapping screws with rubber washers. It is distributed to coincide with the upper grooves in order to guarantee roof watertightness and ensure its reaction to dilation.
When the length of the sides (more than 12 m) means that the covering must be fronted on more than one stretch, the lapping is made watertight using a special seal. This same lapping/seal solution is also used for the join of the different roofing planes at the ridge thanks to the special curve on the end of the plating. This system prevents the watertightness problems which occur when conventional ridges are used.

Normal finishes:

Galvanised. A coating of zinc is applied to the two faces of a steel reel – SENDZIMIR process- in accordance with specifications set out in the UNE 36131 - EN 10142, Z-275 standard. Suitable for atmospheres which are not especially corrosive and aesthetically undemanding projects.
Pre-painted. An epoxy resin-based coating is applied to the two faces of a reel of galvanised steel. The outer face is then coated with a silicon polyester resin-based lacquer in accordance with the specifications set out in UNE 36150 - EN 10169.
Suitable for low corrosion atmospheres and aesthetically demanding projects.
